2. How long does the recovery process typically take after wisdom tooth extraction?

Recovery usually takes 3 to 7 days for most individuals. Mild swelling and discomfort are common during the first few days, but these symptoms gradually subside.

Complete healing of the extraction site can take a few weeks. Following your dentist’s aftercare instructions is key to a smooth recovery.
